airis OS 1.0: a self-versioned release

airis OS 1.0.0 is the first release we're versioning and shipping ourselves, end to end. It's a small milestone with a specific meaning: from here, version numbers, release notes, and the update channel are ours.

One consistent identity

1.0.0 marks the point where naming, external service endpoints, and defaults are all consistent under the airis OS identity, product-wide.

A self-hosted update channel

Previously, distribution rode on infrastructure we didn't control. As of 1.0.0, releases are served from our own domains, with per-platform artifacts and checksums published alongside each version. The app checks for and applies updates against this channel directly — no app-store gatekeeper in the loop.

What changed under the hood

  • Removed cloud services this product doesn't run.
  • Removed telemetry defaults — no analytics phoning home unless you explicitly opt in somewhere we build that.
  • Consolidated every external service reference under airis-owned domains.

What's next

Design Studio (AirisDesign) is the studio in active use today. AirisCode and AirisWorkteams — the code and team-orchestration studios — are in active development, building toward the handover vision: design a dashboard, hand it to Code Studio, dictate the behavior, get back a real application. We'll post updates here as concrete milestones land, not before. For the latest shipped version, see releases.
